Young people, Anna Leoniak and Fiann Paul, arrived at Iceland in 2006 to carry out a big photographic project. Both of them are architects and come from Suwałki in North-East Poland. Travelling through Iceland, they reached to the 50 smallest and most inaccessible villages and portrayed thousands of Icelandic children aged three to six. Photographers experience smiling faces, exotic landscapes, dramatic situations on snow and ice but also a dramatic change of world views. The photos of children were printed on aluminum boards and covered the façade of a building in the center of Reykjavik. The opening of this exhibition was one of the main events of the Reykjavik Arts Festival 2006.
The universal film about relationships, attempts to find a common language and starting a dialogue on many dimensions.
