Face to Face. After the first edition of the debate

The debate „Face to Face” attended by the Director of the Polish Film Institute Radosław Śmigulski was held on Friday 21st September 2018 during the 43rd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

During three Festival days, everyone could video record oneself asking questions about current challenges and problems faced by the film industry. With this in mind, a special platform was organized in the Musical Theatre. The Director answered all the recorded questions. Questions could also be asked directly. The participants of the meeting asked the Director of the Polish Film Institute first and foremost about proposals of operational programmes for 2019, issues regarding the functioning of the Polish Film Institute, expert commissions and the selection of projects as well as the current state of the Polish cinema.

Polish Film Festival opened a new section – “Face to Face” debate. The guest of the premiere edition was the Director of the Polish Film Institute Radosław Śmigulski.
