Films from Gdynia on the 36th PFF!

During this year’s Film Festival we will screen three feature films which are the work of participants of Pomeranian Film Workshops. “Józek goes to Heaven” and “Little Metamorphosis” are two assembly versions of one film. They were created from materials recorded during the 8th Pomeranian Film Workshops. Directorial work was then conducted under the direction of Robert Gliński. The screenplay, same in both versions of the film, tells the story of Józek. The boy just before his 18th birthday, starts a new stage of relationship with two important women: his mother and Agnieszka – a girl he met in a pub.

The film “Absence” is the result of work of the group taking part in the 9th Pomeranian Film Workshops. It shows the difficult relationship of a mother and a daughter, whom we meet when the younger woman is in a coma in hospital. This time the directorial session was led by Wojciech Marczewski, who will also take up this task at the forthcoming Pomeranian Film Workshops, starting in September,
