Submit a film to the 40th Gdynia Film Festival!
Each year, Gdynia Film Festival presents the best Polish films, promoting the native cinematography in an unprecedented scale. We encourage to submit films for the Main Competition, the Visions Apart Competition, the Young Cinema Competition and the Short Feature Film Competition of the 40th Gdynia Film Festival, which will take place from 14th to 19th September 2015.
The Main Competition is intended for full-length feature films produced in Poland from 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015. The films selected for the Main Competition will fight for the Golden Lions Grand Prix and other prizes mentioned in the Festival’s rules and regulations.
The Visions Apart Competition is intended for full-length feature films produced in Poland from 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015. The films selected for the Visions Apart Competition will fight for the Golden Claw Award.
The Young Cinema Competition is intended for feature short films and diploma feature films of the students of film schools produced in Poland from 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015. The films selected for the Young Cinema Competition will fight for the Best Film Award and the Special Award.
The Short Feature Film Competition is intended for short-length feature films excluding short films and diploma feature films of the students of film schools, produced in Poland from 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015. The films selected for the short Feature Film Competition will fight for the Best Film Award.
The deadlines for film submissions:
- until 1st June 2015 – the Main Competition and Visions Apart Competition
- until 18th May 2015 – the Young Cinema Competition and the Short Feature Film Competition.
