The 46th Polish Film Festival poster
We have a pleasure to present you with the official poster of this year’s edition of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. The poster was designed by a young generation artist Ewelina Gąska – an illustrator and graphic designer.
Ewelina Gąska is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Rzeszow. She received her diploma in 2009 at the printmaking studio of prof. Włodzimierz Kotkowski. Her primary areas of expertise are illustration and visual identity.
Ewelina Gąska has won numerous graphic competitions, including silver prize and nomination in the KTR Design Competition (Klub Twórców Reklamy). She has also judged graphic competitions, such as the 20th Edition of the AMS Poster Gallery Competition, theme: Animals are also humans (Zwierzę też człowiek), Young Creatives Cannes 2020, where she judged works in the Design category, and KRT 2020 in Illustration category.
She also taught vector graphics at the Warsaw School of Photography and Graphic Design. In 2018, Ewelina Gąska was a speaker at the GrafConf 2018 conference, where she addressed the theme of creative visual identifications.
Her works have been presented in Polish and foreign design magazines, including BranD International Design Magazine, Form Magazine, IdN Magazine.
