Sebastian Łach
Film, theatre and TV actor. Born in 1975 in Krakow. Graduated from the Faculty of Acting at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow. He has played in many theatres but most closely collaborates with Krzysztof Warlikowski’s Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, where he performs in avant-garde plays The Sexual Life of Savages and The Sky of Stone Instead of Stars directed by Krzysztof Garbaczewski and The Apocalypse directed by Michał Borczuch. The film set is his natural environment. He has played in numerous feature films screened at Polish and international festivals. Winner of the award for the best actor at the 2019 Five Continents International Film Festival in Puerto la Cruz for his role in Roman Przylipiak’s short film Jerry. As an actor, he worked with such artists as Michael Haneke, Kuba Czekaj, Juliusz Machulski, Małgorzata Szumowska, Łukasz Barczyk and Grzegorz Królikiewicz. First or second assistant director to such filmmakers as Grzegorz Pacek, Wojciech Smarzowski and Łukasz Barczyk.
