Bogumił Godfrejów

Director of photography. Born in 1976 in Krakow. Graduate from the Direction of Photography and TV Production Department of the Lodz Film School. The author of many short films. The two of them – “Claire” (1999) and “Circles of Dream” (2000) – were recognized with the Golden Tadpole Award on The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage. Camera assistant on the set of Witold Sobociński’s commercials. The director of photography for the school short film “A Man Thing” directed by Sławomir Fabicki. In 2001, both artists were nominated for the Academy Award for the Best Short Film (Live Action). The film was also awarded for the photography, i.a. in 2002, at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. In 2003, Godfrejów was nominated to the Felix Award (the European Film Award) in the category European Cinematographer 2003.
