Mirosław Przylipiak

Doctor habilitated at the Drama, Theater and Film Institute of the University of Gdansk. Delivers lectures on the cinema and audiovisual culture. Author of three books (“Kino stylu zerowego”, Gdansk, 1994; “Kino najnowsze” with J. Szyłak, Krakow, 1999; “Poetyka kina dokumentalnego”, Gdansk, 2000 – the Bolesław Michałek Award for the best film book of the year) and over a hundred research papers and film reviews. Organizer of the Akademicka Telewizja Edukacyjna (Academic Educational TV) affiliated with the University of Gdansk which produced many educational films. Translator of numerous (mainly psychological) books. Scholar of the Fulbright Foundation at the Harvard University and the Rockefeller Foundation. Lecturer of Common and Polish Cinema, History of Film Theory, Documentary Poetics and the elements of TV and modern culture.
