Burning Bush is the latest film of Agnieszka Holland, produced in the Czech Republic by HBO Europe. It is a three-part film which tells the story of the trial defending the good name of Jan Palach – a Czech student who set himself on fire in 1969 to protest against the invasion of the Warsaw Pact forces and the apathy of the Czech society.
