Maria Is Not Alive
Maria is not alive but alive. She committed suicide but remains in her living body for a few days. It remains unknown how she took her life away. She’s investigating the reasons for her death and observes what the world looks like without her. The funeral is on the way. There is an autopsy of her body and disinfection of her apartment. Maria attends a party for the dead. She clashes with a fortune-teller who foresees only the future of those who have it. Maria’s family blame her for being alive when she’s dead. They think she lived a bad life and died a bad death. Maria wants to interrupt her funeral. She starts to believe she’s not alive even though she’s feeling quite the opposite.
