The Stone
A nun on a wheelchair is cured once she touches a regular stone in a park. But the Archbishop rules that the stone is too secular for the Vatican to acknowledge the miracle. The prioress intervenes and lies about a revelation. That persuades the Archbishop to contact the Church authorities. Unluckily, Chief Rabbi of Poland, a man on crutches, sits on the very same stone and is miraculously cured as well. The clergymen are certain: either they work out a common miracle or none at all.
The film is a directing debut.
