THE “SILVER LIONS” AWARD of the 42nd Polish Film Festival for the film „BIRDS ARE SINGING IN KIGALI” goes to the director and producer JOANNA KOS KRAUZE and the director KRZYSZTOF KRAUZE.

awarded the Golden Claw Award for the film “PHOTON” to the director NORMANOWI LETO and the producers: PIOTR GALON and DANIEL MARKOWICZ.
During the Gala in the Musical Theatre, Platinum Lions, the award granted by the Organizing Committee of the Festival for the entirety of creative work, went to the director and film, theatre and television screenwriter, Jerzy Gruza.
The Audience Award funded by Telewizja Kino Polska went to Łukasz Palkowski, director of the film “THE BEST”.
The 42nd Polish Film Festival was held in Gdynia from 18th to 23rd September 2017.
