A 35-year-old Marek stops believing that life has any purpose. He works from dawn to dusk to pay off his mortgage. He wants to take revenge on his dishonest employer and takes away his car. Marek risks everything and sets out on a desperate journey without a plan. All around the country there are preparations going on before a certain anniversary. A 35-year-old Magda, an employee of the City Hall, co-organises the events. Very devoted to the cause at the beginning, with time she starts noticing the hypocrisy of the people around her. A coincidence will make their paths cross.
