Jan Bujnowski graduated in directing from the Łódź Film School, where he is currently a PhD student and lecturer. Before that, he studied journalism and art history at the University of Warsaw. His short films The Devil and Dancing in the Corner were screened at numerous festivals around the world, including Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Oberhausen, Hong Kong, and Vienna.
