Marta Giec is a director and screenwriter of feature films, experimental films, and music videos. She holds a doctorate in film art and is an assistant professor at the Łódź Film School. Her short films were screened at the WRO Media Art Biennale and international festivals. Her experimental film Varia is available to stream on Indieflix. She is a winner of the Young Poland Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the founding mother of sVHS, an independent film collective.
