Marta Kowalska is a director and screenwriter, born in Gdynia. She graduated from the Gdynia Film School. Before settling in Warsaw, she studied architecture in Glasgow and travelled extensively. She enjoys surfing and good storytelling — preferably based on a true story — in both film and theatre. To take a break from writing — she’s currently working on a screenplay for a full-length psychological drama with thriller elements — she takes her dogs on long walks and collects wild berries.
