Piotr Małecki is a photographer and filmmaker, a graduate of the Wajda School, and a recipient of numerous Polish and international awards. His documentaries, supported by Canal+ and the Polish Film Institute, premiered at DOK Leipzig and the Kraków Film Festival. He is a member of the photo agency Panos Pictures and founder of Short Docs Media. He has lectured at the Łódź Film School and the University of Warsaw. He successfully combines reportage with documentary film. His portfolio includes the following documentaries: Nasze małe Eldorado, Jerzy i Jerzy na jeziorach, and Budzik.
