Bartosz Mikołajczyk graduated in film and television cinematography and photography from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice and in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where he started teaching in 2025. In 2010, he debuted as a director of photography on Henry the Dealer. The film won the main prize at the 2011 Koszalin Debut Film Festival and the Audience Award at the 2011 Off Plus Camera International Festival of Independent Cinema in Kraków. In 2006, he became an illustrator and animator for the animation studio Esy-floresy.
