Maciek Nabrdalik is a documentary photographer who has won numerous awards, including from World Press Photo and Pictures of the Year International, the author of the books The Irreversible, Homesick, and OUT, and a long-standing photographer for The New York Times. In 2017, he was awarded a Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University. He lectures in photojournalism at the Łódź Film School and is a member of Press Club Polska and the Association of Polish Art Photographers. As a cinematographer, his credits include Eat Up, What Do You Feel?, Beyond the Swamp, and The Stringer.
