Łukasz Palkowski graduated from the Film and Television Academy in Warsaw. He made his debut as a director of a feature-length film with Preserve, which won him numerous awards, incl. Best Directing Debut at the 2007 PFF in Gdynia and “Polityka” Passport. His film Gods attracted over two million cinema viewers and dominated the Eagles (awards for: Best Film, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Directing, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay and Audience Award) and the PFF in Gdynia (Golden Lions, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Production Design, Best Make Up, Golden Claquer), and won Best Film at the International Festival of Independent Cinema Off Camera in Krakow. Palkowski has also made series such as The Teacher, Den of Vipers, Langer, Behawiorysta and The Disappearance.
