Paweł Podolski is a director and screenwriter. He grew up by the Baltic Sea and graduated in directing from the Gdynia Film School and in culture and film studies from the University of Gdańsk. Paweł Podolski and Agnieszka Śladkowska won Script Pro 2022 for their screenplay of Franek Błyskawica: Operacja Ważka. The director and co-writer of Life for Beginners, he is currently preparing for his upcoming projects: comedy-drama Pogrzeb jutro, a śmierć nie nadeszła (post-development) and Mój wujek Upi, a black comedy with elements of folk horror. He is also a co-writer of the animated series Endover Groove, in production thanks to financing from the Polish Film Institute.
