Maciej Sobieszczański is a director, screenwriter and lecturer. He is a winner of awards at international film festivals. He co-directed Oskar Dawicki in the Performer, awarded with Think: Film Award and the 2015 Berlin IFF. His next film, The Reconciliation, won numerous awards, including an award in the First Look section of the 2016 Locarno IFF and Best Director at the 2017 Montreal WFF. He is the head of the Studio Prób directing programme and a lecturer at Wajda School.
