Andrzej Titkow is a renowned director of documentary films, with over seventy titles to his name. He has also directed several television features, the series Układ krążenia, the full-length feature Reflected Light, as well as plays for theatre and television. He wrote two collections of poetry, Wstęp do nie napisanego poematu and Zapisy, zaklęcia. Between 2005 and 2010, he was the artistic director of the Jewish Motifs IFF in Warsaw. He is a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association, ZAiKS, the Polish Writers Association, and the Polish PEN Club. A recipient of numerous accolades in the film industry, he was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
