Anja Zalewska is a directing student at the Łódź Film School and a graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. At the 25th New Horizons IFF, she received the Zuzanna Jagoda Kolska Award for her short film Soap Opera. She is currently working on a documentary about Janusz the Sturgeon and her graduation feature. She is also developing the screenplay for the film Rotund, which won an award at TorinoFilmLab 2021. She is a member of the International Documentary Association
