Anna, the film’s central character, lives a prosperous life. She is intelligent, accomplished, beautiful. She has solid education, family, flourishing career. She can afford luxurious shopping, high standard of life. Nothing bothers, nothing irritates her. In France, such middle-class stabilization, closed in by beautiful surroundings, decked with expensive clothes, filled with classical music is often defined with an abbreviation “BCBG”, or “bon chic bon genre” (“good style, good class”) – everything is definitely of top quality in Anna’s life. Commission to write an article on student prostitution will unexpectedly make the journalist look at her life from a different perspective and analyze it carefully.
