Sonja Orlewicz-Zakrzewska is a film director, screenwriter, visual artist and photographer. She has an MA in Photography from the Director of Photography Department of the Łódź Film School. Her first short film Cross 'n' Carry was presented at film festivals across Europe and the USA, incl. New Horizons IFF, HollyShorts Film Festival and BEAST IFF. As a screenwriter she participated in Atelier Scenariuszowe and EAVE Producers Workshop in 2021. She is also the director of photography for Entuzjastki/Female Enthusiasts, a documentary series for Canal+. Her video installations and photos were showcased at numerous exhibitions. She is currently developing her second feature-length film Delfin which qualified for the 2022 MIDPOINT Feature Launch programme.
