Sonja Orlewicz-Zakrzewska is a film director, screenwriter and writer. She graduated from the Łódź Film School. Her first short film Cross ‘n’ Carry was presented at film festivals, including at New Horizons IFF in Wrocław and HollyShorts Film Festival. She participated in the 2021 Atelier Scenariuszowe and MIDPOINT Feature Launch 2022 where she was developing her film Delfin. She received two awards during pitching sessions at the 2022 Karlovy Vary, and the Audience Award and Project Development Award at the 2022 Connecting Cottbus. During the 2023 TorinoFilmLab Next she started developing another feature film Dlaczego Justyna już nie jeździ na nartach. She is a lyricist for the band WSPÓŁGŁOSY.
