Maria Wider is a director and screenwriter. She graduated in Psychology from the Jagiellonian University and in Directing from the Gdynia Film School. She also completed the Script course at Wajda School and Atelier Scenariuszowe. She is the author of short films Within Me, Goose and Old Summer, which were presented and awarded at dozens of festivals in Poland and abroad. In 2025 she made a television play titled Negotiations as part of the TEATROTEKA programme of the Documentary and Feature Film Production Company.
