Janusz Zaorski is a film director. He makes both artistic films, e.g. Sons and Comrades (Grand Prix at 1986 Locarno IFF) or The Mother of Kings (Silver Bear at the 1988 Berlin IFF) and commercial films: Soccer Poker, The Baritone, A Happy New York (Best Directing award at the 1997 PFF in Gdynia) or Siberian Exile (Grand Prix of the festival in Seattle).
His feature-length television film, Saved by a Miracle, won the Grand Prix at the 2004 International TV Festival in Plovdiv.
