WINNERS OF THE 48<sup>th</sup> PFF

The winners of the Golden and Silver Lions, the Main Competition individual awards, and the winners of the Microbudget Film Competition and the Short Film Competition, have been revealed at the Closing Gala of the 48th Polish Film Festival on Saturday, 23rd September 2023 in the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

The GRAND PRIZEGOLDEN LIONS of the 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia for best film SCARBORN went to director PAWEŁ MAŚLONA and producers LESZEK BODZAK, ANETA HICKINBOTHAM

 

The SILVER LIONS of the 48th Polish Film Festival for the film IMAGO went to director OLGA CHAJDAS and producers IZABELA WÓJCIK, VIOLETTA KAMIŃSKA, DARIUSZ JABŁOŃSKI.

 

The GOLDEN CLAW of the 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia for the boldness of form and content in the Visions Apart category for the film NEXT TO NOTHING, went to director GRZEGORZ DĘBOWSKI and producers EWA JASTRZĘBSKA, JERZY KAPUŚCIŃSKI, JACEK BROMSKI

 

The Platinum Lions for lifetime achievements went to set designer Allan Starski

GRZEGORZ DĘBOWSKI for screenplay for the film NEXT TO NOTHING

GRZEGORZ DĘBOWSKI for directing debut for the film NEXT TO NOTHING

BARTŁOMIEJ KACZMAREK for cinematography for the film DOPPELGÄNGER. THE DOUBLE

ANDRZEJ SMOLIK for music for the film IMAGO

MAREK WARSZEWSKI for art direction for the film DOPPELGÄNGER. THE DOUBLE

MARCIN LENARCZYK for sound for the film DREAMS FULL OF SMOKE

PIOTR KMIECIK for editing the film SCARBORN

ANETA BRZOZOWSKA for make up for the film SCARBORN

Audience Award granted by the audience voting in Festival cinemas went to directors DK WELCHMAN and HUGH WELCHMAN for the film THE PEASANTS

 

The winners of the other two competitions have also been announced at the Closing Gala of the 48th PFF.
