Andrzej Żuławski

Film director and writer. Graduated from the Directing Department of L’Institut des hautes études cinématographiques and in Philosophy from Sorbonne University. Author of poetry, novels and numerous feature films produced mainly in Poland and France. In 2001, decorated with the Order of Polonia Restituta, Second Class. Recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Polish Director with Unique Visual Sensitivity at the 2008 Plus Camerimage in Lodz. Member of the European Film Academy.
