Piotr Dumała

Director, screenwriter and production designer of animated and feature films. Graduate of the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Professor of Film Art, lecturer at the Lodz Film School, former visiting professor at Konstfack College of Art in Eksjo, Sweden, and visiting lecturer at Harvard University in Cambridge, the USA. Winner of over a hundred Polish and international awards for his film works. Author of posters, press and book illustrations and comic books. Poet, lyricist and storywriter. Inventor of the plaster panel animation technique. Expert of the Polish Film Institute on numerous occasions. Decorated with the silver and golden Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.
