Sławomir Fabicki

Director and screenwriter. His short film, A Man Thing (2001), was nominated for an Academy Award. For his feature-length debut, Retrieval (2005), he received the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the 2006 Cannes IFF. His next film, Loving (2012), won the Special Award of the Jury at the 2013 Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Member of the European Film Academy and the Board of the Directors’ Guild of Poland.
