DRY SUMMER IN DRY VALLEY

Stasio Tuchała, a confirmed bachelor living in Sucha Wólka, is left alone after his sister flies to America. Since he’s not good with farming, friends decide to find him a wife. Two village housekeepers and Wiera, a Ukrainian, try to marry him but Stasio dreams about a cover girl. The ad he posts with Wacław and Henryk has nothing to do with reality: he’s neither handsome, nor rich. Meanwhile, the village administrator gets blacklisted by Mokry, a local gangster from neighboring Mokra Wólka. Next Sunday, he expects his payback.
