Jan is a famous writer tired with the reality full of intrigues and money pursuit. The man returns on a countryside where he restores and improves an old family house and tries to build his private life with a young woman. Thanks to love, silence and beautiful landscapes, he starts to enjoy the life again. An unexpected visit of a an old friend and a stranger disturb his peace. The offer given by his friend, tragic and complicated history of the stranger and a boding call from his ex-wife foreshadow big changes in the writer’s life.
