St. Barbra’s Day – the patron of miners festival – is coming and the mine director decides to raise the profile of celebration by inviting a TV star on an official academia. Basia, a girl from the sorting department, is chosen to hand in the welcoming loaf of bread to Jakub. That’s how these two completely different worlds collide: glamorous and successful visitors from Warsaw stand by Silesians – traditional, modest and unsettled about the changing reality.
