Immensity of Justice

A famous lawyer tells a law graduate about a case from the past. A TV journalist in the eighth month of pregnancy was killed. Her colleague – a married man and a father of two – whom she’s been with for a year was charged with a murder. Even though he did not plead guilty and there was no evidence against him, the court sentenced the man to 25 years in prison. The film examines the mechanism of judging and passing a sentence in circumstantial cases when the actions of a judge, prosecution and defense are influenced by the external factors unrelated to the case. Chiefly, though, it attempts to describe the human nature: the state of mind of those who judge others often deciding their fate.
