Edward Kubacki, a famous make-up artist ("Nights and Days", "The Jewel of Free Conscience", "Czterdziestolatek"), loses his job following a filmmaking company bankruptcy and falls victim to wishful thinking. Kubacki starts playing lottery in hope that winning will change his life. Former friends from the film set tell his story.
