What happened next to the characters from Krzysztof Zanussi’s 1970s films "Family Life", "Camouflage" and "The Constant Factor”? Where are they now? How have they lived for the last fifty years? The film takes a form of an interview with the questions asked at present by an attempted suicide, the character of “A Warm Heart”. The man asked by a counsellor tries to find out if human life can be good. The scenes from the interview are combined with the fragments of the films.
