Two brothers – Leszek and Janek – come to their home village for a funeral of their father whom they haven’t seen for a long time. Leszek left for Sweden years ago, got married to a beautiful, young Thai and almost didn’t stay in contact with his father. Janek leads a bachelor’s life in Krakow but was more eager to visit the shabby, mountainous village. The funeral makes them both come back and engage in this unpleasant and a bit strange (especially for Leszek’s Asian wife) rite. The moment it turns out that the father left all the land and the house to a foundation and gave them only some junk and a rickety celadon car Warszawa M-20, they are outrageous. But the village members are interested in a broken car’s fate in an unclear and intrusive way.
