It’s 1967. After the outburst of a six-day Arab-Isralei War, the countries of the Warsaw Pact break off diplomatic relations with Israel. The Security Service of a communist Poland opens a larg-scale programme focused on establishing the identity of Jewish citizens. Captain Rożek is ordered to suss out a famous Warsaw writer Janusz Wajner who publishes popular books under a pen-name Warczewski. Under a strong pressure from his supervisors, Rożek desperately decides to manipulate the writer into an aquaintance with a secret agent aka “Little Rose”. She’s an attractive, young woman and his mistress. The Infromal Collabolator “Little Rose” acts as a beginning writer and wins the trust of Warczewski who bends under her charm. Subconsciously, however, she becomes gradually fascinated by his personality, manners, knowledge and sensitivity.
