Soul at Peace – Polish Film Festival

Tono leaves prison, having served five years for stealing scrap metal. When he comes back to his home village, he realizes that everything's changed. His wife barely recognizes him, he is a complete stranger to his 5-year-old son, and he can’t find a job, because nobody wants to hire a thief. Tono feels lonely and desperate. His childhood friends – a Catholic priest Mark and a successful businessman Peter – try to help him start living a normal life again. However, they too are struggling with mid-life crises and need to face the reality that is different from their expectations.
