“The Informer” is based on the events which were triggered off in the director’s closest family by the publication of Wildstein’s List (it contained the names of the alleged communist agents). The director realised that this story was a great material for a somewhat funny tragedy. As a result we can watch a film about high politics and everyday life, about the truth and lies in the family, love and solitude. About the fact that if one wants to live, one needs to keep a cool head.
