After years of marriage, Leon and Barbara live next to each other instead of living together. The only thing Leon cares about is his precious old Fiat which he cannot drive as he is afraid to go outside. Barbara spends her time watering ferns and attending funerals of her friends. One ordinary afternoon, their quiet world is turned upside down by their old friend Ryszard who pays them a visit and makes them an offer they simply cannot refuse...
