Tomasz is a first-year student of environmental engineering. He has come to the capital city from a small town and tries to adjust to an utterly new environment of a large metropolis. He also tries to establish himself in the group of his fellow students, which is a difficult task for a country lad. Tomasz's adaptation problems cause a complete loss of his sense of security, which in turn stimulates his nascent obsessions.
