"Them" is a story of three generations of women living together in poverty. Each of them presents a different attitude to life. The mother and the daughter differ the most. Although she finds it hard to believe in herself, Agata, the daughter, tries to fulfil her dream to become an artist. With her utterly different attitude to life, the mother does not understand her daughter's ambitions. She is unemployed and sees no reason for changing her passive behaviour. The grandmother supports the frustrated girl in achieving her goals.
