After twenty years Jakub is released from prison. He was convicted of a crime which he hadn’t committed. Jakub learns the identity of the only witness whose accusations were the basis for his conviction. With conversations and poetic monologues a record of a family and social drama is constructed. “Freedom is the lack of mystery,” Jakub reveals.
