During a mass a young seminarian receives a letter from which he learns about the consequences of his recent sin. Now he has to decide whether he should continue his spiritual service. “ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners” – the film begins with a fragment from the Gospel According to Saint Matthew (Mt 9:13).
