Mateusz together with his sister Olga leads a modest, simple life in the country, remaining in harmony with the surrounding nature. The carefree life of the protagonist changes when Jan appears in the house, with whom Olda fells in love (and vice versa). The over-sensitive Mateusz has to face the new situation and the feelings he did not know before.
