Polish seaside, the end of summer. A lonely girl struggling with Tourette syndrome encounters a boy flying a kite on the beach. She’s fascinated with the control he has over its flight. She lacks even the control over her own body. Whereas the boy, whose behaviour and obsessions cover his Asperger syndrome, has always “flown alone” so far. Now he meets a stranger who destroys the existing order.
