Amok – Polish Film Festival

A police inspector with a dark past re‑ ceives an anonymous call and links an unsolved case from years ago with a newly-published book. In the course of the investigation he meets its author, a young philosopher. Their encounter will shed light on the case and will start an exciting duel of two very strong characters constantly balancing on the verge of good and evil. In an intriguing story where fiction mingles with reality and telling the difference between the truth and a lie becomes impossible, there can only be one winner. Kasia Adamik’s latest film, a psychological thriller with charismatic, memorable roles played by actors of the young gen‑ eration (Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Łukasz Simlat, Zofia Wichłacz).
